I have two big keloids(not sure bout the size) on my right ears and I went to see the dermatologist and he prescribed the clobetasol propionate gel 60g for me to use in two months. But I'm kind of confuse because the little research i did, I didnt read anythin about it reducing or flatening stuff..Instead, I read alot about it releaving itches, rashes and ect. So does it reduce or flatten keloids?
Is Clobetasol Propionate gel effective in reducing the size of keloids?

See http://www.drugs.com/enc/keloids.html for information on keloids and treatment.
Clobetasol cream is not a typical treatment. Corticosteroid injection is preferred.(see link above)
Keloids usually are not medically dangerous, but they may affect the appearance. In some cases, they may become smaller, flatter, and less noticeable over a period of several years.
Removing the keloid may not be permanent. Surgical removal may cause a larger keloid scar.

Thank Suzanne, ur post is very helpful. Im goin to stop using this product because I've not seen any result since i started using this.
