Is celexa and hydrocodone safe together? or celexa and xanax?

My wife is in pain (back), on top of taking celexa.

They are safe but they come with risks. The risks when taking Celexa and Hydrocodone include central nervous system- and/or respiratory-depressant effects may be additively or synergistically increased in patients taking multiple drugs that cause these effects, especially in elderly or debilitated patients. The same goes with Xanax. I hope this helps. Good Luck!
