Your physician (who is privy to your health records) will be able to answer this. Yes, this medication does contain very high levels of sodium, so yes, it could be detrimental to heart patients, but then again, this depends on each individual's condition.

Sorry, I confused this with another med. This med doesnt have high sodium levels. Still, your physician is the best suited to answer this.
