Is benadryl a subsituion for cogentin?

Benadryl can be used depending on the severity of the problem. I personally would stay on the Cogentin. Benadryl can be very sedating for some people. It is an alternative though but be careful not to make your symptoms worse. Good luck

Is Cogentin normally ordered to take with Haldol or Seroquel, or Cogentin used with both?

my son is going to be taken off Seroquel and left on Haldol, will he still need to take Cogentin?
