Is avonex working for me?

Avonex is one of several "immunomodulatory drugs". It takes a fair length of time before anybody can ascertain whether or not the one they are on is working for them. Your lesion that disappeared is probably due to the inflammation abating. The new small lesion is probably one that will remain. Only time will tell. My suggestion to you is that you keep a log or journal. Describe any symptoms you may be experiencing... if they are getting worse, where they are, how long they are there for, if new ones are showing up daily then going away. Also include things like whether or not you are having cold/flu symptoms, sinus/allergy symptoms, you are overly heated or chilled, if you have engaged in too much activity or have had less sleep than usual. All of these things can affect your MS symptoms and whether or not they get worse or better etc. Good luck
