patient had a renal transplant 7 months back, aortic dissection surgery 3 weeks back, subdural hematoma of 8 mm a week back, patient was on aspirin and warfarin. dilemma is whether to give 75mg aspirin now as recommended by cardiac surgeon but contraindicated by neuro surgeon?
Is aspirin recommended after recent aortic dissection surgery after subdural hemorrhage has occured?

I would go with the neuro surgeon or get another opinion. I am a kidmey transplant patient of almost 40 years and was told never to take aspirin. I am most likely on different medications than you, but it is most important that you protect that kidney at all cost. It is a blessing and a gift.
