Is anyone on Kepra and Lamictal to treat a seizure disorder?

I know Keppra and lamictal can be taken togther. My daughter took keppra with tegretol and topimax. The keppra didn't seem to make any change so was dropped and after a few other trials lamictal was added to the mix- supposed to be a newer clearner drug with some good success. This (200mg lamictal 2X daily) and two brain resections and we still don't have control.We have been on up to a cocktail of 4 different drugs at a time.Unfortunately some patients - up to 30% can not get control with drugs and surgery is only considered up to 80% successful. We don't like taking drugs because of side effects but for some epileptics there aren't many options to try to reduce the seizures. I pray you and your doctors can find something that will get things under control for your sonl.

i am i have been for over 10 years now these r 2 medicines i dont want to come off of they worked out great but it might b time.

Thank god I found you, I have been looking everywhere for somebody who is being treated for seizures and adhd,i take 4,000 mg of keppra a day and xanax 3 times a day as needed,my family doc put me on vyvanse and I did ine never one seizure then my neuro flipped out and said you cant be reated with stimulants,anyway I have read resrearch that you can be trreated for both but he refuses matter of fact the study was done with concerta,i am 35 yrs old and on disability cause of seizures adhd,depression,old injury broken back,anyway I woul love to chat with you abou it. Oh I believe the keppra will do wonders on youur son they may have too raise his dose but its a great drug,and all the other seizure drugs you tried on him did not help me either,but keppra is really good.
