Details:
When I take these medications, under my tongue (sometime) swells a little. I went to the emergency one day because one side of my neck was swollen also, and a tingling in my throat.
They said it was not the medications, and they gave me an Epicpen, in case a severe reaction occurr. They also referred me to an Allergist, she told me to take Zertex.

It's unfortunate that no one, who has taken these medicines, has responded. I'm sure people have allergic reactions to these medicines. The reactions may not be identical to yours.
If your symptoms came on after you started taking these medicines then it may be possible that your reactions are due to these medicines. However, it may be just a random allergic reaction, as you don't have it all the time.
If your doctor permits ... and if your blood pressure is controlled then maybe don't take these for a few days to see if you get these reactions.

I am doing a test right now to see if cozaar is causing problems in my throat including a feeling of swelling and tingling. My doctor changed me from lisinopril to cozaar when I had swelling and tingling with lisinopril. The reaction stopped initially but is now back. Benadryl stopped the reaction, but that is hardly the answer. Looking for an alternative medication.

I am actually going to the doctor today because I just realized that my allergic reaction could be from Lopressor.
About 8 months ago I was placed on Lopressor in order to further control my high blood pressure. A short while later, I began developing a rash on my arms and thighs. Then I began itching all over. I thought I may have gotten it from some work in the yard. Went to the doctor and they gave me hydrocortizon, which didn't work. Then they referred me to a dermatologist who began treating me for eczema. The rash subsided but i was left with dark marks on my arms, back, and legs from the rash (and of course scratching). On Friday, I was given a new prescription of Lopressor and yesterday I saw a few of the same bumps I had before surfacing and itching on my wrist and hand. I immediately looked up side effects and saw that one of the possible allergic reactions to this medication is rash; itching/swelling.

So I called this morning to see if my doctor can make the connection between the Lopressor medication and my skin condition, which is bothersome since spring and summer are around the corner... and I've NEVER had problems with my skin in the past!
If anyone has experienced the same/similar, please chime in so I won't feel alone. Thanks!
