I need something for my deteriorating discs in my neck moving up to my head; for the past week I could not move my neck at all. Also have muscle spasms in mid-back and lower back.

Hi,
Amrix is non narcotic. But it is a prescription dispensed drug used primarily as a muscle relaxant. It is used for the treatment of pain and disorders of the musculo-skeltal system of the body.
To be on the safe side I suggest you go to your Rheumatologist
Good Luck..from a caring individual

Maso is right. It also said in the extended release amrix, it should help with the spasms. I'm not suggesting you change medication, but as far as muscle spasms, valium has worked best for me. Mine are so bad I literally jump.
Good luck to you and hope you start feeling better very soon
