You should discuss the risks and benefits of Iodoquinol with your doctor.
Unfortunately medications used to treat Blastocystis hominis infections aren't always effective.
Not everyone experiences the side-effects of medicines and unfortunately you can not predict what will happen. You will need to try the medicine to find out how you respond. You can always stop taking the medicine if you have unpleasant side-effects.
