Infections - I have a infection (belived to be sinus infection) I am prescribed Mylan-Minocycline?

I realize this answer is very late and yes minocycline can treat a sinus infection. Hopefully your sinus infection resolved pretty quickly.

I recall a time when doctor's office's telephoned in antibiotics in, put refills on bottles, but there has been so much research done where too many antibiotics have been prescribed, then when a person really is in need of them they won't do the job, I would suggest to you that you give the doctor's office a call describe your symptoms to them, be sure and take a temperature reading they will ask, also they may ask if your sinus drainage is green or yellow in color, they may have you to come in but far better you go in than to take the medication and it not be of any help to you. Please take good care and give the doctor a call.
