In the past I have been switched from Glyburide to Glipizide to Glimepride?

They all belong to the same class of medicines and should exert the same effect (but each has different dose guidelines). The side effect profile is the same as well.
Please ask your doctor what his/her expectations are when changing from one to another.

The Pharmacy I use gave me Glyburide this time instead of Glipizide which is what I have been taking.
