It is best to take Imdur at around the same time every day. It is best in the morning.
Imdur helps to widen the blood vessels and reduce the frequency of angina attacks.
Imdur is a long acting formulation and is designed so that a small amount of the drug is released slowly over 24 hours.
If Imdur is not taken at around the same time each day your body can end up having too much Imdur or too little in your system. Too much could result in side effects such as headache, dizziness, hot flashes, nausea etc.
Too little could result in chest pain and / or an angina attack.
