chrittersBeen taking them once a day for a week now and doesnt seem to be helping I still get burning and itching and once and awhile I get leakage. I was put on Salofalk 500 MG but was told it wasnt cleared for Hemmoroid use. Whats your take on these products and what works best??

Salofalk is used generally to treat Ulcerative Colitis and Proctitis (not hemorrhoids) It may help with leakage.

Anusol-HC is a mild preparation for hemorrhoids and there are more effective treatments available from your doctor.

Chris, I am new to the group but I hope this helps, the itching and burning is terrible and I've tried a lot of stuff to ease it , the best thing I've done is an old fashion sitz bath in water as hot as you can stand (don't burn yourself), just hang you a round pan in the toilet put your water in then sit down,ah,ah,ah
now don't that feel good, stay there for about ten minutes, pat yourself dry then smooth some good petroleum jelly on your back side, do this a couple of times a day untill your hemmies shrink down. Good Luck Shirl621
