Im take the fellowing medicine carvedilol,simvastatin,plavix. I have a cold what can I take?

The right Cough & Cold medication depends on your symptoms.

Generally, patients with heart disease should avoid pseudoephedrine-containing products.

Those taking carvedilol should use Benadryl (DiphenhydrAMINE) with caution.

Those taking Plavix should use NSAIDs (Aleve, Advil) and ginseng (Cold-fx) with caution.

My Father had a heart attack and triple bypass about 8 months ago he takes the same meds you have listed then some he takes cordicedin HBP the dr told him to always make sure the over the counter meds said " H B P "

Coricidan HBP is usually the one reccommended for anyone with high blod pressure and heart issues, it has a heart right on the box. If you have any concerns that you have the right box then you could ask your pharmacist and he/she could tell you because there are different ones for different symptoms.
