I would ask your doctor to help you taper off of the Halcion first. Lunesta is a sleeping med that warns the user not to use in addition to other sleep aids. I think you'll like Lunesta better than the Halcion because it doesn't usually produce a "hung-over" type of feeling. Also, as a plus, unlike the Halcion, Lunesta isn't a benzo derivative so there's less chance to become addicted. Good luck.
