how long before my hot flashes recede?
I'm on day 3 of femhrt for postmenopausal symptoms. There hasn't been any change in my symptoms?

It should start subsiding soon, hormones take a while to get in your system. Your doctor should have asked you to come back in in 3 months to check the levels of them in your blood. There is a cream called Estrace that is used vaginally that may help get a bit more in your system to ease any vaginal symptoms and also the hot flashes. Call your doctor and let him/her know you are still having problems. Hope you get to feeling better soon.
