I love the fact that you can discuss your drug treatment here for any possible condition. I am also in search of a support group where you can vent your feelings for the condition you have, and just talk about what you are going through. I.E. the things you face with your family, work, your inner feelings, daily struggles, etc. I was wondering if anyone knows of another site that might work like that. My questions arent always about drug issues, and I am at a loss as to where to post them. I would really appreciate your help in finding any information along these lines. Everyone here has been so very helpful with questions about my drugs and I am very grateful for that. Thank you all!

I'm not sure I understand what you mean? I always have thought it's the members who just don't disclose much for whatever reason. Some disclose more and some want to stick to what meds. they take etc.. I'm an open book. I've had horrible depression for a year/now finally seeing some light at the end of tunnel.
I put my comment in the wrong place. See, I told you Im still new to this stuff. I put the reply under my own question... :o(

I am so sorry no one has answered your question. I do not even know what your condition is, but if you click on it (in blue) next to you question, a page comes up to join the support group for this condition with a forum for questions & answers. Hope this helps, & I sincerely hope you get to feeling better. I might also add that WebMD has forum where doctors get involved in the discussion. Hope this doesn't get deleted for listing a competitor. Best of luck to you...
Opps, see I read your question & didn't scroll down far enough to see it's been answered! Sorry, Mary
The weekend. Hey Mary. Fresh pot so, grab a cup if you like. catching up on my e-mails. Pile of them, and its because I largely ignored yesterdays, so to speak. Have a good one my friend. And care for a d... g... t doughnut!!! Pledge... don't tempt me now! bye bye :-0)
Thanks Faith, I have joined there under the same name. Look me up some time, would love to chat.
In peace,
Tee

Maybe because Im still somewhat new, but most of what I see in the form of questions is always about something to do with drugs. I have a situation right now with my (somewhat estranged) mother who is making my life crazy over my gastroparesis. I dont know how to get a convo going over that bc I've never seen any kind of questions on family situations in any of my support groups. So I guess I just dont know where to start???
Tee6759... We are here for you..Just share your issues. We may be able to help.
Tee6759..I can relate to your mother driving you crazy about your gastrperesis. I was diagnosed about 5 years ago now, but suffered with it for over 10. My husband and I were always at odds about the treatment (drugs) I was getting for it. Also how violently sick I was most of the time. He along with the Dr's thought it was all in my head and was just saying I was in pain to receive the very strong painkillers I was being prescribed... not true. It can become very painful at times. We actually separated for 6 months or more because of it. The Dr's would tell me I was faking or I had some psych issues, even going as far as to put me in a psych ward for it Finally we moved to another province and I received the proper diagnosis. What a relief to know and have actual proof that I was not crazy and that it wasn't just in my head.

My husband and I since have gotten back together, now that he too realizes that I wasn't just faking for the drugs and I wasn't crazy. We still struggle with it everyday ( the disease). Sometimes counseling may help, but it's not for everyone. Maybe try to find some info for your mother so she can understand the disease a little better. I was lucky to find a nurse (while I was in hospital for the disease) who suffered the same problem, except she wasn't a diabetic like myself (which makes the disease much harder to control) Good luck with your mother!! Take care..
