Can I take promethegan if I am breastfeeding?

Im breastfeeding a 2 month old Ihave nausea my son just gotten this morning can I take promethegan... 12. 5mg promethegan suppositories
can I take one or well affect my baby because Im breastfeeding

I did some research and it is ok to use it while breastfeeding. I would be sure to drink some lots of water and get fluids up. Feel better., wishing you well.

Promethegan is found in breast milk.
"The manufacturer recommends that due to the potential for serious adverse reactions in nursing infants, a decision should be made to discontinue nursing or discontinue the drug, taking into account the importance of the drug to the mother."

Talk with your doctor before taking promethegan - you may need to bottle feed for the next 24 hours.
