This is the type of question that can be posed to a pharmacist, who is likely to say the same thing.
The question I have is why you might have access to benicar 40 mg tablets if you haven't been prescribed them? Benicar HCT has a 'water pill" diuretic, which means you'll be urinating more frequently with it until your fluid levels are down.
Do consult your doctor and/or pharmacist about this before taking action.
