I ran out of Aggrenox and for the last day have used Bayer Aspirin in its place.
If I take Bayer Aspirin in place of the Aggrenox will I have a stroke?

Taking an 81mg aspirin everyday is not a bad idea for anyone who has had a heartattack or a stroke but it will not replace Aggrenox. If you are not replaceing your Aggrenox because because you can't afford it, write to the company. They have a medicine assistance program where you can get deep discounts or free meds In any case, don't self medicate. Talk to your Doctor and right away.
I got the Aggrenox and am back on schedule. Being legally blind, I couldn't get to the store that day. Obviously, I've corrected the problem.

Thanks. This is just a one time thing. I couldn't get to the pharmacy to get the Aggrenox. I will get it tomorrow.
