If I am taking celebrex for my arthritis, and I have to take colchicine for a week?

It's fine to take both medications together. However, you should always watch for adverse side effects and report them to your doctor asap. Colchicine is normally used as a maintenance med for gout.
I have another, safer suggestion for arthritis if you are interested. ETAs (Eicosa Tetraenoic Acids) 500 mg - it's all natural and will not produce side effects. Also, I highly suggest a good regimen of vitamins and minerals and antioxidants.

I am in my 30s and have a condition called Degenerative disk disease in my lower back, aka Spinal Stenosis. Too young for that. I suffered for a very long time and then started Grape Seed Extract (100 mg 2 x/day) and vitamin C (1000 mg 2 x/day), along with multivitamin and other antioxidants. I had nothing to lose as I could not even run with my kids. After a few months, I started to notice a difference. I went back to my physical job, could pull my knees to my chest without pain, slept well, etc... The grape seed helps to "lube" the disk spaces in my spine and Vitamin C helps it. I did not exercise much through that time. I did walk, which does help. Good luck.
