I have a skin rash that looks like rosasha or acne but creams for either of those skin problems have not worked. It is on my face and spreads if I itch it. Travocort and Clindets have helped reduce it but not eliminate it. I think it is some sort of infection. It gets itchy. Anyone know what it could be? It is red and sometimes get some puss in the middle of the dots.

This actually sounds like roseacia. I had a small biopsy to check it. I do have it. However, the medication used I was allergic to and it made the condition worse. Because of my high dose prednisone, they thought that would keep it in control. It just itches at times and makes my cheeks red.
You may not have insurance there, but you might have to see someone anyway and pay as you go. This is miserable and really can affect now you feel about yourself. It may also leave scarring and turn a small problem into something more difficult. Let us know how you are faring.
Thanks for your help. I found that I can order Travocort online from the US. I have a small bit left and am using it sparingly and do not have any signs right now. I have talked to a doctor here and he is going to superscribe me a pill with the same ingredient as the Travocort that is to deal with the inflammation I believe. I hope this helps but I dread going off of it only to find out it's still there... my cheeks get VERY read in the cold and during exercise my whole face is red so it may be that I have roseacia!
Hi. Medication is used only when your rash flares, not daily. That may help you a bit. It actually is an infection of a tiny critter that lives in pores of skin. The medication eliminates these teeny things,
As for red face. No need to worry about that. Most people get red faces when they exercise. Am sure you wouldn't be judged on that. Lots of men and women have this condition. I once mentioned into someone who showed some concern regarding it. I laughed and said it is just a medical condition. She said, "roseacia?" I said yes. She said," me too!" Got a new friend.
