Started taking Arimidex 23rdJuly 2010, one week later I started getting severe bone pain in my legs, arms and shoulders.I went to my specialist yesterday and he has taken me off Arimidex for 2weeks and wants to put me on Tamoxifen but now I'm worried I might get the bone pain with it also. I am wondering. If the bone has a problem maybe a marrow transplant just might be the answer. Has your doctor talked to you about what is happening. I am also wondering if a person that had been through the Tamoxfin five year protocol for bilateral atypical cancer cells, which has prevented atypical cells from changing, could they be a better bone marrow transplant?
Tamoxfin prevents Cancer from spreading. So this is a great thing.

Take Care and keep me informed.

Ask about biopsy of the bone to see if the Cancer has traveled.
