I was taking 1 Oxycontin 10 mg and 2 Oxycodone HCL 5mg?

Thank you. Neck, back, and shoulds hurt. Neck the most. No fever. At first I was sleeping 10 to 20 min at a time but I am now getting an hour or more without moving around and waking up. Day 3 without. Still having trouble sitting around. Thank you again for the info.

I ruptured my distal biceps tendon. I have been on prednisone since 1976 for (now) two kidney transplants. They had to do some bone drilling and grinding and stretch the tendon and muscle back out after sitting in a ball. I have broke many bones in my hands and feet, ribs, jaw, collar bone. Left foot once and right foot twice without ever stopping walking on them. My 20s were a time I thought I was on my way out and went off the deep end. At 27 I woke up to the fact that I was still here and in good shape so I stopped everthing. With everything I have been through, this was about the worst pain I think I have felt to date. Also the first (and last) time with oxycontin. I have been given vicodin many times and don't think I ever finished half of any of them. I am not sure what was so different this time but don't want to feel like this again. Thank you for your help.

Your bones are probably in the condition they are from all the prednisone. I am having some of the same problems with my bones, & the only thing that is helping regrow new bone is the drug Forteo. Please check this out & talk to your doctor about it. After one year, I was already growing new bone. It's a 26 month program of giving yourself shots (doesn't hurt at all) everyday for 26 months. It's a wonder drug for me. I too have had many many broken & crushed bones. Good luck to you, & check this out, please... Mary632009
