my dr perscribed protonix after a stay at the heart hospital to take with my plavix.i was told to go on line and see who makes it. i need to know if i can afford to take it. or do i need something cheaper my pharmacy said it is expensive.

Protonix is manufactured by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, however Wyeth is now part of Pfizer.
