I was prescribed to take metronidazole in pill form and I cant take pills what other form is there?

As far as I'm aware oral metronidazole only comes as tablets or capsules. There doesn't appear to be any suspension formulations. I suppose you could open the capsule and take the contents (This would depend on the strength of metronidazole you are on). Just taking the contents may not taste very pleasant.
