... i am supposed to have another period while off of the prometrium it's been 16 days that i have been off and i havn't had a period yet but i am experiencing horrible pelvic cramps and pain in my lower back, is this normal ?
I was prescribed prometrium to take for 14 days to stop heavy bleeding and then off for 14 days and?

I had also been bleeding for 8 weeks prior to the prometrium and I have ovarian cysts

Hi, it isn't unusual for your periods to be erratic when first starting this treatment. Also the side effects that you have listed are all know to be linked to this med. I wouldn't worry too much but i would suggest you call your doctor to report how things have been going and check that he/she wants you to continue the med as was first prescribed
