Well, I got through the treatment successfully; it ran 6 months (Jan-to-June).
However, I'm still taking Lamictal--and I'm starting to notice something: I'm always "jumpy", and I grind my teeth--as well I always have nightmares. Bottom line is I'll speak to my doctor about weaning off the med (I'm currently taking 300 mg)
I also am not taking any additional med.

Does anyone have experience of Lamictal causing nervousness?
I'm in anxiety-mode almost on a daily basis, and am grinding my teeth as well. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Be well & God bless.

Lamictal can be a help for depression, but in some people it can cause anxiety and irritability as evidenced by your teeth-grinding. Maybe a lower dose would be adviseable, or you may be one of those people whom it just doesn't work for. It's worse to take it and add to your woes if it's making you feel worse. Good luck!

I was recently diagnosed with bi-polar 1 . I have been on methadone for 4 years but, when I started the lamictal my anxiety went through the roof. I walked around just squeezing m fists , couldn't go outside was afaraid to make phone calls. ps I also have hep c . I so hope the best for u your health and all that is in your life . ps I was also very agitated. i quit it about a week and a half ago and I might be feeling better. I just got the okay to start lithium i am scared i can't go though that again.
