I was prescribed cefdinir 300MG capsule for ear infection can the capsule be broken and put in food?

I realize this answer is very, very late but may be helpful in future.
Yes, you can open cefdinir capsules and put the contents in food. However, you must ensure that all the food is eaten, otherwise you will not get the full dose. BUT I'm not sure if cefdinir powder tastes very nice.
