I was prescribe Methyldopa and I'm 9 weeks pregnant. What harm can this do to fetus?

Oral Methyldopa
Pregnancy Category B: Animal reproduction studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women OR Animal studies have shown an adverse effect, but adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus in any trimester.

Intravenous form Methyldopate hydrochloride (the ethyl ester of methyldopa)
Pregnancy Category C: Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks.

mthyldopa is the most safe medication for pregnancy women have blood pressure
go ahead and take your drug in its time
and donot take any medication without consult a pharmacist or your doctor
take care your self
