I was in car accident in 06 had rotator cuff surg and 3 other procedures I have been in sever pain?

thank you for your response, but if i cant eat cause the pain and im not sure if norco is also causing me to lose my appitite? i have alot of stressors in my life and food just makes me sick! why my family wants me off it i dont know why cause i didnt want to go out new years eve cause i have sever anxiety? paralyzed nephew at age 28 and they dont believe in rx drugs but yet sister inlaw ask me to give him klonipin? im confused! pain really makes me not hungry at all! what do i take for pain? tried vicodin didnt touch it, had rx for morphine and dilauded but gave it to new pain dr as i knew something was wrong, what do i do for the pain! its not in my head as i have tried to stop norco and my whole rt side hurts so bad!. i will see dr on 24 this month. he gives me oxy every month but i havent picked it up for 4 months so i know im not a seeker! thank you

I found after going through almost every narcotic out there that Fentanyl is wonderful for 24/7 pain relief. One must be opiate tolerate to take them as Fentanyl is quite strong
No opiate buzz just pain relief. Might need something for bt pain once in a while.

one thing is for sure when you are in serious pain it can really make eating its something that you just don't do! I am sure that Laurie would help you taper and there are other alternatives, I have broken ribs and I have found there are times that opiates aren't always the best choice, just know that I know what pain can do and I wish you only the very best! caringsonbj (Billy)

ty i was on both those pills did not help with pain made me severly dizzy. i have appt on 24th and will ask dr what i can do was also on methadone but it did nothing also a pain patch which made me loopy!

ok i will see about the 15 of oxys i think he gave me 15s and no relief maybe ill try 30 again but still have to take norco oxy is just for breakthrough pain, i too cannott seem to get right dosage! havent taken oxys in 4 months as 15 did nothing for me and family wants me off all pain pills cause ive lost so much weight what stay in pain and dont eat or have some relief and eat small amounts im sorta mad at my family i cant live through this pain and they dont understand! thank you so much for your support bless u and pain free hugs!

I'm a bit confused here. Are we aiming for pain control or increased appetite? Pain control and the anxiety and panic that goes when one isn't being controlled adequately are only part of the problem. Support from significant others is another.
Pain is a very personal event. How can anyone presume to know what you feel ? Just causes more anxiety.
To the appetite issue, ppl complaining about your food intake only makes u feel worse, more stress,etc.
This is reaching crisis level.
