Nahd,
This may sound crazy, but I read a study recently that showed cinnamon triggers memory and recall receptors in the brain. They did a study where the gave adults some information study and then just before the test, they gave half of the adults cinnamon candy to suck on while they took the test. As a result, those with the cinnamon candy tested higher than those who got nothing. They did the same experiment using oatmeal with cinnamon in it and also with giving some participants a piece of cloth with cinnamon scent sprayed on it. Sounds crazy, but it might be worth looking into.
