I,ve been on paxil for about 2 1/2 years and it works well for me, however, I'm concerned about?

I have been taking Paxil since 1992. I think it is a great medication for anxiety and depression. It does do a number on your libido, but for me the trade off was worth it. My problem is with the latest generics being carried by most pharmacies. They don't work. I am having to pay big time for the Brand Paxil.

I too was on Paxil for a long time and my doctor said it is o.k. There may be periods where it may need to be adjusted after awhile but it is an excellent drug and I have excellent relief from anxiety (which is severe for me) and depression. I was taken off Paxil for now and put on Cymbalta for Fibromyalgia pain but will be requesting tomorrow when I see the doctor to go back on it because as far as I am concerned nothing works like Paxil and I would rather have the pain then the depression and anxiety.
