My age is 40 and since my teenage years, I have been putting sink oxide on my face. I know it sounds somewhat silly, putting diaper rash cream on my face daily (twice: morning + at night), but it is the only cream what feels good and does well to my facial skin. Any danger to it?
I use Zinc Oxide Cream daily on my face (diaper rash cream) ~ any danger to that on the long term?

Nope, I never wash it off after applying it on my face ~ the cream always feels nice soothing. At the moment I use the "Baby Avalon Organics Protective Zinc Diaper Balm" (zinc oxide 25 %) on my face in daytime (smears out nicely without too much harm to my skin, and I try to get go parabens free, but anyway that's an other story/project ;-)
At evening/night-time, I first use a little bit of "Mayumi Squalane Ultra Fine Oil" and then on top a thick layer of zinc-oxide (my husband is used to that by now ;-) and I always wake up with a refreshing face (at the moment, at bedtime, I use still the not-parabens-free "creamy diaper rash ointment" up and up brand (Target) (zinc oxide 10 %). This cream I use as well for chafed skin at times (on hands on under above my upper-lip, due to blowing my nose).
Thanks for your response. I'm kind of alone in the use of diaper rash ointment on my face you see ... Nice to read that according to your knowledge it will not be harmful to use it on my face ~ cheers! ;-)
