I use timolol eye drops would this make my asthma act up within minutes after using the eye drops?

Details:

tighting of the chest, coughting, weezing. would this medicane also cause someone to never before having toruble with high blood pressure to sudenley have problems?

Yes, the beta blocker timolol (a glaucoma med) CAN affect lung function. You should ask your eye doctor about prostaglandin analogues such as Xalatan, Lumigan, or Travatan. They don't come in generic form but they are much safer for those with lung problems.
