Yes it is quite normal for Nora-be in some people to suppress ovulation and stop you from having periods. (lucky you!)
You probably do not need to worry about azithromycin affecting the effectiveness of Nora-be. However to be extra sure you could use another method of contraception (eg condoms) while taking azithromycin and for another 7 days after finishing.
