I take ortho tricyclen lo, have high cholesterol and migraines. is this drug safe for me?

Sometimes birth control pills can cause headaches or I make them worse but if you haven't experienced any such thing you should be fine.
Estrogen in the birth control pill may elevate triglyceride levels.
