there anything i can add or take to help it be more effective like it used to be?
I take adderall xr 30 mg once a day for over a year now and its not working as well here lately, is?

Hello curiousgeorge413. You might ask your doctor to increase the Adderall by 5mg. ( I know that you're on the XR) Or ask her/him to prescribe you Vyvanse. Another CNS used to treat ADHD. I believe that the combo would compliment each other. I ran the combination and found there were no negative interactions. Doesn't mean that there are none, just has not been reported as such. You might ask your doctor or pharmacist to confirm, or get thier opinion. Good health and wishes to you,pledge

I agree with Pledge. You could ask your doctor to up it 5 mg or change it to VyVance. I take VyVance and it works great for me. And you can go to their website and get savings on it too. Just a thought. Hope this helps. Good luck to you. Ruth
