I suffer from Cluster Headaches.. Any Comment From Cluster Suffers?

I have not used fiorcet,but I do use prednisone dose packs,also the life saving imitrex injections.this works for me when I catch a headache in its early stage a hot shower with the water concentrated on the side of my head pain can also use the burner of an electric stove directing the heat on the side of head pain.

The absolute best thing to abort a cluster headache is inhaling oxygen, as pure as you can get it, straight from the tank or into a fairly tight fitting mask, for perhaps 6 to 12 minutes. it works best if you do it right as it starts. You can accomplish the same thing by running, or walking fast, to the point you become aerobic - "2nd wind" - which means your blood oxygen is going up and the vessel swelling is going down. Takes about 12 minutes. It is far better than any drug. When the pain goes, it goes completely and you do not have any drug effects to deal with. If you have lived with cluster you may also develop muscle tension headaches just from the stress, and you can get rid of those with biofeedback or some other form of treatment. Then you are home free.
