Dear mis61: I also take Cymbalta and I found an offer for 30 pills for free on this site. Just wondering if maybe that could help you wean off slowly and avoid withdrawal. Anyway discuss it with your doc. I hope this helps!

Just in case you decide you need to stay on the Cymbalta, there are pharmaceutical assistance programs to help you get the meds for free. You can go to RxAssist.org and type in the name of the medication and it will send you to the manufacturer and application to get this medicine.

Hi mis61, so sorry about your job and going cold turkey with the cymbalta... Im not sure which one would be worse. You are right, you are having the same symptoms most of us have trying to "detox" from this icky drug. You will feel much better soon, trust me, I went thru this too. I am taking prozac, its much much cheaper. Maybe thats a good option for you. I paid $6.00 for it at Wallmart. Good luck to You... d
