It usually takes Concerta a bout a week to 10 days to start making a marked improvement. Also, make sure you're taking it at least 6hrs prior to going to bed; if you're taking the extended release you need to take it at least 10hrs before sleep. Another thing that is common is that people consume caffiene while taking Concerta; which wreaks havoc on the pill's effectiveness. I hope this helps somewhat.
