If you have been taking your Pills every day, like you are supposed to, without miss and werent on any antibiotics this past month then you are likely not pregnant. On occasion, while on the Pill, you might miss a period. If you miss two periods however, you should test for pregnancy. Give it a few more days, you may yet start. Be sure you start your next pack on time no matter your period. If you go all seven days of the sugar pills and have no period, you can do a home test for pregnancy just for your own piece of mind if you want. Remember, when you are on the Pill and get put on an antibiotic for any reason, antibiotics reduce the effectiveness of the Pill and you can become pregnant if you do not use some form of back up, like a condom, for the whole time you are on the antibiotic and for at least seven days after you finish them. You should try to take your Pills at roughly the same time each day for optimal effectiveness.

What if you miss one day but double the next? In the begining I would forget about taking it but I've never missed any on taking them ust the days they were sapposed to be taken, would that have any effect?
When I was working in family planning we told our women if they missed a Pill to take as soon as they remembered (which is usually when the next dose is due) and to use back up for a week. Now I think it is a bit different depending on when in the cycle it is missed. This is what the literature states: If the patient misses one (1) active tablet in Weeks 1, 2, or 3, the tablet should be taken as soon as she remembers. If the patient misses two (2) active tablets in Week 1 or Week 2, the patient should take two (2) tablets the day she remembers and two (2) tablets the next day; and then continue taking one (1) tablet a day until she finishes the pack. The patient should be instructed to use a back-up method of birth control if she has sex in the seven (7) days after missing pills. If the patient misses two (2) active tablets in the third week or misses three (3) or more active tablets in a row, the patient should throw out the rest of the pack and start a new pack that same day.

So it looks like yes, you should use a back up, like a condom, for seven days after a missed Pill. Missing Pills, even if you make them up, opens up a slight chance to possibly get pregnant. The more times you miss, the greater the chance becomes. Missing one Pill is probably not a big deal but it has happened to get a woman pregnant, especially if you are lucky enough to be as fertile as horse manure! lol Usually a mistake in taking the Pill is the way that women get pregnant while on the Pill. They either miss a Pill or are on an antibiotic without back up, and for those that are extremely fertile, even being late taking a Pill may be enough. If you take them absolutely perfect, every day, on time, they are almost 99% effective and that is as effective as tubal ligation (tubes tied) It is really not a bad idea to always use a condom, epecially if you are one to forget your Pill a lot. This way you are covered and you are also protected against STDs which the Pill wont protect you from. (I know, I hate condoms too! but it is worth it if you dont want to be pregnant!! if he does his job and gets you hot enough you wont care so much anyway!!) Try setting an alarm on your cell phone to remind you (that, at least, is something I didnt have when I was on the Pill-I'm showing my age here!) and also try to be sure to pick a time of day that is easiest to remember. When I was young we ate dinner at 5pm every day so i picked that time because I knew it was something I did at the same time every day. If you get up at 7am every day, you could pick that time-just whatever you can use to jar your memory to get that Pill taken. I was SOOOO glad once I had my two babies and was able to get my tubes tied and now I never have to worry. If only menopause would kick in I'd be a really happy woman! lol If you are very worried you can do a home test. They are pretty accurate these days and that will set your mind at ease.
