I had a corneal transplant and later found out the donor had a fungus in the cornia. I have been on prednislone and Amphotericin B. I read the prednislone would make the fungus worsen. Thank you for your responce.

Yes, Pred Forte can make the fungal infection worse if used it's own. However, if there is inflammation in your eyes then it's okay to use Pred Forte and the Amphotericin B together. Amphotericin B will keep the fungal infection under control. If Pred Forte is used for a short term then it's even better but please follow your doctors instructions. If you need Pred Forte ... you have to use it.
Marvell, thank you for your responce. I do not have imflamation in my eye. I have been on predneslonoe since May. I have been through 2 medium sized bottles of amphotericin. Is that good?

When did you doctor/eye specialist tell you to stop using the Pred Forte? Yes, it is fine to have used the stated amount of eye drops.
