I've read on some sites not to use both concurrently. I have been taking ambien for months, pretty regularly for insomnia. Have just decided to try St John's Wort for depression, on my own, not on doctor's advice. (He prescribed zoloft, but I'm afraid of it and the side effects!) If I have to choose between sleep and mild depression, I'll choose sleep! Thanks for any advice!
