I know Lithium Carbonate ER should't be cut but can the other Lithium tabs be cut once in a while?

Any lithium tablet can be cut in half provided it does not have a special long acting coating. Lithium Carbonate ER has a special coating so should not be halved. Talk to your pharmacist for more information.
