I have a 22 months old baby girl, she has got urine infection and her doctor advised to get nitrofurantoin (syrup) 4 cc every 6 hours (her weight is about 13 kg). I want to know if we should give her any kind of vitamins.
I just want to know if this medication should be taken with any kind of vitamins?

Vitamins aren't required but they could help her immune system heal faster. I would give her vitamin C because it can help treat and prevent UTIs. You will find information about this all over the internet. Vitamin C will make her urinate more and help clean her system out. Its good for her immune system too. Just make sure you give her the right amount.(not too much because she is a baby).
