Hi dark! Hydroxyzine usually does start working with 1-2 hours. You are on a pretty low dosage, though. Your doctor might need to up the dosage, though. I'd give it a couple of days and if you aren't seeing any improvement, let him/her know. It comes in 10, 25, 50 and 100mg tablets so I'm sure he/she can find a dosage that works for you. Good luck!
