Hi sallosly - you don't say what it is, but I imagine you mean white discharge? This can be a tough problem to get rid of, if its a yeast infection, depending on how far developed it is. But, I would have it checked at a clinic/Dr., because it could be many things. You just want to be sure you're on the right medication because you can become raw from itching, and there is an odor, as well. It normally takes a few days to clear up, but I would recommend avoiding sex while you have it because you can pass this and other diseases or conditions on easily through having sex. And, you don't want to do that... not a nice thing to pass on! Good luck! Jillian

Thanks for the answer but what do u you think will be the best medication or treatment i should take to get rid of this infection from my private part.
That really depends on what the diagnosis is. It could be several different conditions, which would require different medications. It really should be seen by the Dr. so that you don't pass it on to someone else. If its a yeast infection, you can ask the Pharmacist for the best med. or you can try the home remedy of a plain yogurt or vinegar douche. Usually a suppository, like Monostat, will get rid of it entirely & to be thorough. Just my opinion. If it is bacterial vaginosis, chlamydia, or gonorrhea, then you will need to have different treatment. But, try the home remedies first & definitely ask Pharmacist. They are a source of information without charge!
