... to migraines, hypothyroidism, or anemia?
I have suddenly started getting really bad bouts of vertigo. Has anyone ever had this in relation?

Hello redsoxliz1980. I read your question and mentioned it to my wife who has a hyper thyroid, and yes, I asked her and she did expertience the veritgo, feeling dizzy. I wan't aware of that but, I do now recall that she did go throught bouts of it. She no longer experiences it. Well, hope it goes away. Theres medication for it. I'd have to look it up. I have suffered with vertigo for years. It comes and goes. I actually have it right now and I am hypothyroid. My Endocrinologist just upped my Synthroid and I feel like I had 6 coffees and dizzy.
My ear doctor showed me an exercise that helps me.
Sit on your bed and gently lie down your upper body to the right. Wait awhile if you have vertigo this will make you dizzy. Let the dizzyness go away then sit up and the same happens, then lie to your left, it may happen again. Repeat this for about 3 to 5 times. If you are too dizzy wait for another day. What this does is move the little pieces in your inner ear loose so your balance is back to normal.. Hope this helps you. It did for me.

redsoxliz, I have terrible vertigo and have for years. Have had all kind of test, was told I would just have to live with it. They have given me meds but don't help. I have hypothyroidism, anxiety panic. But the vertigo started long before the other.I have had it so bad i would vomit. They called mine possional (sp) vertigo. But it can sure hit w/o warning. Von

Vertigo also goes with a vitamin B deficiency. One of the signs of a vitamin B deficiency is anemia. Exhaustion, forgetfullness, etc go with a vitamin B deficiency. I've been through this twice. Are you taking vitamin B suppliments? They're cheap-real cheap- It takes about 6 weeks for improvement-they are water soluble- if you have extra vitamin B, you'll just pee it out, and there isn't any build up in your body- lab work for vitamin B defiecenies are very expensive. My problem is B 6 and B 12. So I take extra of those 2.

I didn't know that about the vitanomin B - I take B -Complex I asked my doctor if it was ok to tkake it. I also ake Fish Oil-Omega-3, Meganesium, Calcium, and Potassium, and Vitamin D - I'm vitamin D deficiency I take 2,000 IU.

Try to take B 6 and B 12 to get enough to overcome a deficiency-If you are anemic-that's an indicator of a B deficiency-and like I said- B is water soluble so you pee out any excess without have any organ damage.
The B complex is good, if you don't have a problem, but it doesn't have enough to cure a problem.
